Is it surprising to you that Jesus had to learn obedience (from Hebrews 5:8)? Though Jesus was fully God, he was also fully human, which means he experienced everything humans experienced, but without sin. Even without sin, he learned obedience through the connection he had with his Father. We are able to follow the lead of Jesus in this way but listening to the voice of God (as Jesus did) and obeying what he says. It may not be easy, but it is very simple!
