Pastor Steve talks about Cities of Refuge – a concept introduced in Numbers 35:9-29. Cities of Refuge were something needed for the Israelites living in a very rough, uncivilized society, but they need not be read and understood as purely dead history. As Pastor Steve teaches, he introduces a powerful concept – the Church is now the modern City of Refuge – it’s a place where people can come to be healed, made whole, and in turn be part of expanding the kingdom of God throughout the world.
