07/26/2026 | Abiding In Jesus | SUNDAY SERVICE

What does it really mean to abide in Jesus—not simply visit with Him occasionally, but remain connected to Him throughout every moment of the day? How can we stay spiritually alive when grief, unexpected hardship, or seasons of pruning touch our lives? And is it possible to bear lasting fruit without exhausting ourselves through constant striving?

In today’s message, Pastor Steve explores Jesus’ teaching in John 15 and compares abiding in Christ to breathing: not something we do once a day, but a continual dependence on the life of the Holy Spirit. He shares how remaining connected to Jesus prepares us for challenges we cannot anticipate, allows the Father to remove what no longer produces life, and transforms even grief into a place where we can know Christ more deeply.

We’ll discover why God sometimes prunes things that appear fruitful, how abiding changes the way we pray and hear His voice, and how a life rooted in His love can produce abundant, lasting fruit—without striving.
