Col 3:1-2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
Whenever we weigh our thoughts without intentionally involving God in them — we eat again from the Tree of knowledge and separate ourselves from the ways of paradise
Col 3:3-4 your life is hidden with Christ in God
we now inhabit two realms, and are equally present in both heaven and earth. Every thought process which does not result in righteousness, peace and joy has not yet connected us with our present reality.

2Co 10:5 …taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
Capturing our thoughts to the obedience of Christ does not mean we strive to live righteously — it means we live in humble recognition that we need His power working in us to live heaven’s way.
If we fail to take every thought captive to Christ’s obedience, our thoughts will keep us captive to whatever the kingdom of darkness intends.
