Christ in you, pouring out of you

THE MINISTRY OF JESUS IN THE GOSPELS WAS JUST THE WARM-UP TO HIS REAL MINISTRY. WE ARE THE MAIN EVENT
John 14:12 … the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do …

THE GREAT CO-MISSION WAS MEANT TO BE COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT GOD. IF OUR MINISTRY COULD BE DONE WITHOUT HEAVEN’S CO-OPERATION, IT IS INSUFFICIENT.
Col 1:26-28 the riches of the glory of this mystery…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
> The mystery is that now, in our age – being complete in Christ means we can live as He did
> Not merely morally upright good citizens of heaven – doing all the works He did
CHRIST IN US…IS EAGER TO BE POURED OUT OF US!
…being filled with the spirit:
> God primes our pump when we will be stepping out into the supernatural – to do what needs to be done
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.
> So that they could stop a crowd in their tracks to hear the message
Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people,
Peter before: Mark 14:69-71
Peter after: Acts 4:10 …that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified,
Acts 4:29-31 take note of their threats…they were all filled with the spirit
BEING FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT BOTH GIVES US THE COURAGE TO STEP OUT AND DO THE HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE, AND PROVIDES THE POWER TO MEET THE IMPOSSIBLE NEED
God allows us to practice in the family first…the safest place to fail
1 Cor 14:1…12…24-25
1 Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy…
12 So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church.
24-25 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all. The secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.
